BURGER KING® OPENS NEW CONCEPT RESTAURANT
@ ION ORCHARD WHERE QUICK SERVICE DINING & YOUTH CULTURE MERGE

Enter the realm where quick service dining meets youth culture; where mealtimes become both social and personal moments and where you are empowered to “HAVE IT YOUR WAY®”. Welcome to the new BURGER KING® @ ION Orchard!

BURGER KING®, the world’s second largest fast-food hamburger chain, opens its newest restaurant at ION Orchard, #B3-21, come 28th July 2009. This restaurant is specially-designed to reflect the lifestyle trends of the new generation of youths and working adults, who are constantly on the quest for new experiences and engage in things that are authentic and “cool”.

A touch of personalization and embodiment of the brand’s “HAVE IT YOUR WAY®” philosophy come in the form of five personalized sound zones with each having its own individual sound focusing speakers at the restaurant’s booth seating area, a first for quick service restaurants in Singapore. Here, guests can plug in their iPods and listen to their favourite tunes contained within their booth while eating.

In addition to the forward looking design and décor of BURGER KING® @ ION Orchard, this restaurant will also serve as an innovative test-bed for the introduction of new products that will be subsequently rolled out at other BURGER KING® restaurants in Singapore and the Asia Pacific region. Here, customers will not only be treated to its iconic WHOPPER® made with 100% flame-grilled beef but to new pilot-testing products such as salads, sundaes, BK Fusions™ and even premium espresso coffees. These products are a reflection of BURGER KING®’s continuous commitment and ability to develop innovative menu options to appeal to consumer’s latest taste trends and profiles.
