LEASING


LEASING MANAGER

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and implementing the tenant mix in a retail mall. Formulate, develop and implement marketing strategies
  • Establish and maintain good landlord-tenant relationships
  • Negotiate leases and attend to tenancy-related matters
  • Prepare rental budgets and cash flows

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Business or relevant disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant working experience in a retail mall
  • Bilingual with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Sound understanding of the real estate industry
  • Good contacts with Retail and F&B Operations

 



CUSTOMER CARE


CONCIERGE

Responsibilities:

Execute and ensure delivery of superior customer service through:

  • Administration of lucky draws, partner promotions and reward redemption for ION Orchard’s customer loyalty program
  • Attend to shoppers’ queries
  • Sale of SISTIC tickets, ION Orchard gift vouchers and other services such as gift wrapping and restaurant reservations
  • Personal shopping services
  • Responsible for general administration duties such as banking in of daily sale collections
  • Be mall ambassadors by providing exemplary customer service
  • Undertake ad-hoc projects and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time


      Requirements:

      • Minimum GCE 'O' Level
      • Minimum 1 year of working experience
      • Relevant experience in a retail or hospitality environment will be an added advantage
      • Ability to converse fluently in English. Other language skills will be a plus factor
      • Pleasant personality with genuine aptitude for service-related work

      HUMAN RESOURCE / ADMINISTRATION


      ADMIN EXECUTIVE / PA (GM OFFICE)

      Responsibilities:

      • Provide secretarial and administrative support (which includes scheduling of meeting, processing of paper, filing, etc). 
      • Establish work priorities through proper planning and coordination.   
      • Preparation and collation of reports from local and overseas retail malls.  
      • Assist Director, Retail Management in preparing reports and presentation materials.  
      • Manage travel arrangement and booking of hotel for internal staffs & overseas guests. 
      • Assist with expense claim reconciliation.  
      • Coordinate logistics needs for video and teleconferences.  
      • Miscellaneous administrative duties. 

      Requirements:

      • ‘A’ Level / Diploma in any discipline
      • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position
      • Good command of spoken and written English
      • Must be analytical, detailed and systematic
      • Good hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Office
      • Able to work independently with initiative
      • Ability to work beyond office hours (when required)



      FACILITIES MANAGEMENT


        ENGINEERING MANAGER


        Responsibilities:

        • Provide all aspects of engineering and technical services support to the Operations team
        • Enhance efficiency of  the existing and new installations at the malls
        • Provide necessary technical know-how as per the operational requirements of the mall
        • Ensure compliance and track performance of key vendors and contractors


        Requirements:

        • Bachelor’s Degree in Estate Management, Building, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering
        • Min 5 years’ relevant experience preferably in a retail or commercial MCST environment with 3 years in a managerial capacity
        • Familiar with BMSMA and building/retail mall maintenance work and authority regulations 
        • Strong technical expertise in terms of equipments and processes required for property management
        • Posses strong leadership and able interact effectively with all levels and good team player who can collaborate with colleagues from different departments to achieve shared objectives for the projects
        • Good command of spoken and written English 
        • Must be able to work under pressure and multi tasking
        • Willing to work beyond office hours
        • Proficient in MS Office



        TENANCY DESIGN MANAGER

        Responsibilities:

        • Review/update mall tenancy design guidelines
        • Update the building’s plans
        • Vet and review design proposal and construction drawings submitted by tenants comply to design guidelines and meet management’s expectation
        • Conduct design briefing to tenants
        • Provide as-build plans to tenants for their design submission
        • Ensure quality of design construction implemented on site meets management's expectation and comply to design guidelines
        • Conduct fitting out inspection on store construction quality as per approved drawing by management
        • Propose design for mall special projects and follow-up on the processes

        Requirements:

        • Min Degree in Interior Design/ Architecture
        • Min 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in retail mall, architecture or interior design
        • Sound knowledge of all aspects of design principles, construction detailing and material properties
        • Excellent written and verbal communications
        • Proficient with Autocad, Microsoft Office and Photoshop
        • Team player with ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines


        TENANT MANAGEMENT MANAGER

        Responsibilities:

        • Attend to tenants’ feedback and address their concerns
        • Handling handover & takeover of tenants
        • Manage rental arrears and oversee litigation matters
        • Ensure tenants’ compliance to building operation guidelines
        • Enhance communication with tenants on all operational matters
        • Foster closer relationship between tenants and the management

        Requirements:

        • Possess a Degree or Diploma in Estate Management or Building
        • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position
        • Independent, responsible and willing to work beyond office hours
        • Possess excellent interpersonal skills with good command of spoken and written English

        ION OFFICER

        Responsibilities:

        The role is a unique and challenging one which combines customer service, security and safety, as well as facility management, offering suitable candidates a career opportunity that is varied in scope and exposure.

        Your key responsibility will focus on being the service ambassador for the mall, attending to tenants and shoppers’ enquiries/feedback and extending support to the customer service department. The job scope also extends to include security functions where you are expected to play a secondary role to ensure safety and security of the mall for the shoppers and tenants. Additional responsibility will include building management functions in support of the operations team. Specific building management scope will include conducting regular checks to ensure building facilities are maintained at high standards, monitoring and checking contractors’ works, look out for building defects/safety issues/non-compliance of building regulations/mall house rules.

        Responsibilities:

        • To oversee and lead a team of technical crews to ensure that the shopping mall's engineering facilities are of the highest standards
        • To prepare and submit timely reports
        • To monitor and supervise all scheduled maintenance works
        • To assist in monitoring and supervision of addition/alteration works and improvement projects
        • To assie in taking/handing over of shop units
        • To liaise with tenants on compaints and feedback

         
        Requirements:

        • Diploma/Higher Nitec in Engineering/Building Services
        • More than 5 years relevant experience
        • Relevant computer skills
        • Willing to work on shifts

         



        TECHINCAL CREW


        Responsibilities:

          You will play an integral role, as part of the property management team, to ensure building facilities are maintained at high standards. You are expected to carry out maintenance work in accordance to maintenance schedule & monitor term contractors in their routine servicing as well as minor repairs / trouble-shooting works. You will also be responsible for providing the required M&E supports to the tenants as well as to attend to their requests/feedback/complaints on maintenance related matters. In addition, the position responsibility requires you to assist in marcom events where necessary e.g. sound system, crowd control, escorting of performers etc.

             
            Requirements:

              • NTC 2/3 or NITEC/Higher NITEC in Mechanical/Electrical/Building
              • Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in maintenance of M&E systems and building facilities and/or implementing improvement works
              • Relevant Computer Skills in MS Words and Excel
              • Willing to work on weekends and shifts
              • Excellent team worker
              • Conversant in English



                TECHNICAL CREW (BUILDING WORKS)


                Responsibilities:

                • Responsible for carrying out preventing maintenance work in the shopping mall
                • Responsible for routine checks and general repair & maintenance work in the shopping mall
                • Responsible for simple plastering, painting, carpentry & tiling jobs including locks & toilet accessories replacement, etc
                • Responsible for coordinating and supervise general repair work by appointed contractors
                • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the manager/executive


                Requirements:

                • Minimum O level or equivalent
                • Possess at least 3 years' relevant working experience in maintenance of M&E systems and building facilities and/or implementing improvements works
                • WSH knowledge and related certificate would be an advantage
                • Have relevant computer skills in MS Words and Excel
                • Willing to work on weekends and shifts
                • Excellent team worker
